01-10-2008 -- The Jefferson County Amateur Radio Club has joined the electronic communications era with a new web page. Information concerning the clubs meeting dates, information contacts, and activities can be found at www.JCMOARC.ORG. The Jefferson County Amateur Radio Club maintains an amateur radio repeater off Dry Fork Road in the northern Jefferson County area. All Amateur Radio operators are welcome to use the repeater as necessary. Input frequency is 147.105, with no tone required for access. The Jefferson County Amateur Radio Club supports the Jefferson County Emergency Management Emergency Operations Center whenever additional communications resources are needed by the County, and the St. Louis County/National Weather Service Skywarn program by providing trained weather observers in the county.
