General Membership Meeting – January 15, 2011

A. Meeting called to order by Eric Platter at 9:07 AM on January 15, 2011.
B. Eric requested that all members present introduce themselves to the group.
C. Secretary Report: Minutes read by Steve Edwards.
D. Treasurers Report: Donna Rolland reported the club has $721.06 in funds and that $65.00 had been spent on the website.
Old Business
A. Bill DeCoursey informed the membership that Winterfest would be held in January.
New Business
A. It was decided that at the next Board Meeting that dues for members and associate members would be discussed. As well as where they fall into the membership. Family membership was also mentioned in the discussion.
B. Eric Platter announced that Jon Schaumann would have an agenda at the Board Meetings.
C. Bill DeCoursey asked that a capitalization fund be established for the club. Bill also confirmed that the club liability coverage was in force.
D. Bruce asked that all club members make sure that their email addresses are current
E. There was a discussion regarding the Jefferson County EMA and the hospital EMA. Bruce asked that it be referred to the EMA subcommittee.
F. Bruce gave a presentation on the Midway DXpediation. Eric suggested that possibility of having a local DXpediation.
