I. Reading and Approval of the Minutes
A. Meeting called to order by Eric Platter, KCOYCJ at 9:09 am on May 7, 2011
B. Reading of April 2011, Board Meeting minutes read by Steve Edwards, N0QQN
C. Treasurer, Donna Roland, KB0RQJ reported that the club has $1,236.11. Two checks written to the library are outstanding.
II. Reports of Officers, Boards and Standing Committees
D. Bruce Quayle, K0ARY mentioned a DXing QSO party for the weekends of May 7th, 14th, and 28th.
E. Eric Platter, KC0YCJ added QST had information on QSO’s.
II . Unfinished Business and General Orders
F. Egyptian Ham Fest on June 12, 2011.

H. Jon Schaumann, W0KZ brought up that the A.R.R.L. is switching insurance companies. Donna Roland, KB0RQJ reported that the club is paid up and changing insurance policies.
I. A comment was made about the repeater announcements being made too often.
J. Eric Platter, KC0YCJ will meet with Deanna Bovaconti with Jefferson Memorial Hospital on Monday, May 9, 2011 at 5:30 pm in regards to participating in the Emergency Preparedness with 911 and the E.E.O.C.
K. Charlie Fuqua, WA0YZW suggested the meeting minutes be emailed to the Board Members.
L. The General Class question pool is changing in July.
