Board Meeting

Meeting called to order by Eric Platter at 10 A.M.
A. Treasurers Report: Donna reported there is $1312.11. Offered proof of liability insurance for the amount of $320 that was paid in December.
B. Old Business
· Liability insurance discussed.
· Charlie Fuqua, WA0YZW mentioned that we need to keep a log book describing club assets.
· Number of Board Members was discussed, it was suggested a fifth board member be added.
C. New Business
· Five committee Chairmanships was discussed. Bruce Quayle, K0ARY will be Chairman? Field day committee needs to be a full time and year long
· Discussion regarding EchoLink being added to the repeater was tabled
· Committee meetings should be after the board meetings and should be advertised.
· Board meeting s to be held at JMH was discussed.
· Preparedness committee and the Net should be kept separate. Chairman of the net committee would have ownership of script
· Program Committee discussed. Eric Platter, KC0YCJ will be the Chairman
· Bill Wallace, KC0TGY is getting with Deanna at JMH to get Tech Licenses classes.
· Changes to Bylaws were discussed. Vote taken to approve the 5th Board Member. Roy Nelson, KA0UMJ entered the motion and seconded by Bill DeCoursey, KA0RGI to present to club for vote. Passed.
· Board discussed H.A.R.N. and decided not to join as a group but would give members the ability to join on their own if they so wished.
· Joe Buckley, KC0ICR suggested adding roster along with phone numbers to the website.
